About Brown's Auto Salvage
Brown's started from humble beginnings in a backyard in Melvern Square in the early 70's where Lawson Brown repaired cars and occasionally scrapped vehicles.
A decision was made in 1975 to purchase land and open an Auto Salvage. It was opened in late 1975 by Lawson and his 3rd son, Tim.
As our clients grew, so did our business. In 1996 a young grandson started working for the business and in 2000 Chris (son of Tim) started working full time. He is now Office Manager in control of parts and sales.
We are still at the original location, still growing strong and offer old fashion, friendly service.
We greatly appreciate the beauty of the Annapolis Valley and do our upmost to maintain a clean and tidy site, as well as meeting or exceeding the stringent environmental standards applied to our industry.
We remove unwanted or discarded vehicles from homes FREE of charge and work in conjunction with Banks, Real Estate Companies and Counties in an effort to help free our countryside of unsightly vehicles while also helping the environment.
We support all the local organizations in their fund raising efforts every year because we believe in supporting our local community
and it's people!
